The Celtic Cross is defined by the containing circle, this confronts the odinary and the sacred. Ordinary time, or chronos, is a single dimension, rational and logical. Sacred time is both stillness and movement, meditation and dance. Without sacred time we are deprived and become caught in the noise of civilization, blind to chance, choice, and synchronicities.
